Please read this page carefully before purchasing our inservices...
How does this work? In a nutshell... You don't have to be a computer whiz to take our inservices. Our inservices are not online classes. You are simply using your computer to get a paper copy (or computer file copy) of the inservice. Our inservices are fully downloadable to your computer. This means you can print them out on your printer, if you want. You can take the test on paper or use our online test to automate the process. This will save you lots of time and a little postage.
Your downloaded inservice is presented as a PDF type file using the most up-to-date software, so you will be able to display the inservice no matter what kind of computer you use. When you download the inservice, you'll notice that it has two main parts in this order: the inservice and the test. The Inservice is the actual inservice. The Test is either a True/False or Multiple Choice type, depending on the inservice.
Here is how it works...
You must purchase one inservice for each student taking that inservice. For example, if two people are to take the Medication Administration inservice, a quantity of two inservices should be purchased.
Once you purchase the inservice, you will have access to it IMMEDIATELY! You will see a download link on your receipt page. When you click on the download link, the inservice will automatically download to your computer. SAVE the inservice to your computer. If you close the link before you save or print the inservice, you might not be able to bring it up again. After you have the inservice on your computer, you can either read it on your computer at your leisure or print it out on your printer.
If you have more than one person taking the inservice, you can make copies on your printer and give each student a paper copy (hard copy) of it. They will first read the entire inservice, then take the test.
If you want official CEUs...
Once each student takes the test (online or on the paper copy at the back of the inservice) go to our website to the link given in the email that you receive after you download the inservice. You must complete the test page entirely and simply submit it to me. It's that easy!
Please Note: If you send us the test answers and verification information by regular postal service, there will be a delay in getting the test graded and your certificate sent to you.
Verification...
To abide by state rules and regulations, we must have a guarantee that the named student took the inservice as required. The administrator (or someone appointed as being in charge) can make that guarantee.
What the verification does is to tell us that a certain student took the entire inservice and completed his or her own test. This is what we need to know:
The student, and the administrator, can be the same person, of course.
The form on our website that you submit when you take your test also serves as our verification form. If more than one person is taking the inservice, one online form must be submitted to us for each student. This will validate to us that the named student did complete the entire inservice and test. The test page on our website for any CEU inservice already has the proper fields for all the required information for verification.
IMPORTANT: If you would rather email the test/verification information to us, rather than use the online test page, you may do so, but be sure to include answers to all test questions as well as the above verification information. I cannot grade the test without complete verification information, as given on this page.
Once I receive your test and verification info, I will grade the test. Upon successful completion of the inservice and test I will send you an email with an attached file for your certificate(s), which are electronically signed by me. All you have to do is print out the certificate for your records. If, for some reason I am not able to forward you an online certificate, I will mail you a hard copy original.
From start to finish, just follow these 7 simple steps:
That's it! If you have any questions about the download process, the inservice, the test, or any other part of your experience with our inservices or resources, email or call me. Our contact information is included on all our inservices and resources and on our Contact Us page. Thanks!
